Self-guided walking holidays · Hadrian’s Wall Path

Walk Hadrian’s Wall. We’ll handle everything except the walking.

84 miles (135 km) coast to coast, from Wallsend on the Tyne to Bowness-on-Solway. We book your B&Bs, move your bags every day, and give you honest route notes that tell you which day is hardest and where to find lunch. You choose the pace: 2 to 8 walking days.

Coast to coast, Tyne to Solway

Flat, fast miles at each end; the dramatic Whin Sill crags in the middle. Every itinerary walks this same line, the difference is how many days you take over it.

The service

What every holiday includes

B&Bs booked for you

Every night reserved in bed & breakfasts and inns along the route, with breakfast included. Where beds sit off the trail, transport is arranged.

Bags moved daily

Leave your bag (up to 20 kg) at breakfast; it’s waiting at your next stop by late afternoon. You walk with a daypack.

Honest route notes

Maps and daily notes that flag the climbs, the exposed stretches, and where the cafés and taps actually are.

Support while you walk

A phone number that answers, 24/7, if a boot fails or a knee complains. Full inclusions list.

Choose your pace

Six itineraries, one honest difference: pace

Same trail, same inclusions, what changes is how far you walk each day and how much time you keep back for the forts.

All holidays

One trail, in depth

The specialists in a single wall

We don’t sell four hundred holidays across five continents. We organise walks on one National Trail, which means we know which B&Bs put the kettle on early, which stage catches people out after rain, and where you should stop for a proper lunch rather than a petrol-station sandwich.

  • Honest per-day difficulty, we tell you which day bites, and why.
  • Where food, water and toilets actually are on each stage.
  • A plan for the day a knee gives out, not just a brochure.
